The Felinos defeated Chivas with the authority to reach the semi-finals of the tournament.
This Sunday, December 3, there were faces to be seen Cougars vs. Chivas at the Estadio Olimpico Universitario, as part of the return of the tournament’s quarter-finals Opening 2023 of the League MX. Guadalajara arrived at CU with a 1-0 lead, which they were unable to maintain.
Very early on, the UNAM team took the lead through an own goal by Antonio Briseño and a few minutes later they increased the difference with a penalty from Chino Huerta.
In the complementary part, Gabriel Fernández condemned the final 3-0 and thus sealed their place in the semi-finals.
