In an interview with Mikhail Borzykin, Grigoryan said that in 2012 he was offered to “sell” his joints to enter the Russian Premier League (RPL). SKA-Khabarovsk failed to break into the elite division of domestic football and Grigoryan was expelled.
“These kinds of matches happen all the time in the second league! I think there is enough evidence for Grigoryan to say this. Let special units deal with this issue, but Alexander definitely has something to say. If this is real, such things need to be punished very severely. “I ban such scoundrels and fraudsters from football for life,” Kanchelskis said.
Kanchelskis also played for Everton, Fiorentina, Rangers, Manchester City, Southampton, Saturn, Krylia Sovetov and many other teams in his professional football career.
