The program explores Lorca’s heartbreak in Don Perlimplín’s love for Belisa in his garden. Adapted by Triana Lorite, the piece arrives in Altea on Saturday. This version of Lorca’s love story intertwines addiction, falling in love, youth, maturity, and turbulent human relationships, delivered in a compact, three-character dynamic with the garden in a central role. Don Perlimplín loves Belisa, Belisa loves many men, and Marcolfa observes the way hearts change while caring for Don Perlimplín.
