Rebrov says Ukraine national team does not play for Zelensky

Sergei Rebrov, the head coach of the Ukraine national football team, admitted that he did not speak with the country’s President Vladimir Zelensky before the match against Italy in the 10th round of the 2024 European Championship qualifying stage. His words were quoted by Suspilne Sport.

The starting whistle for the match between Italy and Ukraine to be played on November 20 will blow at 22.45 Moscow time.

In Group C, Italians are in second place with 13 points, while Ukrainians are in third place with the same points. The leader is the England team, which is guaranteed to enter the final part of the tournament with 19 points.
