Mediterranean Institute for Protocol Studies (IMEP) degree and official master’s degree students in Event Organization, Protocol and Institutional Relations) will do an internship 75th edition of the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana Gran Premi Banc Sabadell (VCV).

This agreement between the two institutions resulted in the signing of the internship contract. VCV director Ángel Casero and IMEP director Jorge Rodríguez. The agreement will allow a group of students from two official degrees taught by IMEP to undertake internships at the next edition of the VCV, which will take place from 31 January to 4 February 2024.

Trainees will actively participate in the organization of the event, which will travel across the Valencian Community from north to south over five stages for the men’s competition and the women’s competition.

VCV began its first phase in 1929 under the name Vuelta a Levante.It has a route of 180 kilometers. After 75 editions, the competition has been positioned as one of the most important international and oldest competitions held in the Valencian Community, as well as being included in the testing calendar of the International Cycling Union (UCI). In 2024, teams in the World Tour category, the highest category of cycling, will also take part.

With this agreement, İMEP has more than 100 internship agreements with different companies and public institutions every year, where students can have the opportunity to do internships. IMEP, a center affiliated with the Miguel Hernández University (UMH), has over 20 years of educational history in event organization, protocol and corporate relations and offers both public and private degrees.
