Honored figure skating coach of the USSR Tatyana Tarasova commented on the words of the head of the US Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), Travis Tygart, who said that justice was miscarried in the doping case of Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva. His words were quoted RIA News.

“The postponement of the hearings in the Valieva case took place in September; Why didn’t he write this before? So what does it offer? What is justice? Forgive Camila or bury her? However, our athlete, who was unfairly suspended from competitions, has not been able to participate in international tournaments for two years. Doesn’t that seem unfair to him? said Tarasova.

A doping scandal broke out around Kamila Valieva during the 2022 Olympics. A banned substance was found in the sample taken by the athlete in December 2021. They wanted to disqualify him from participating in the Games. Literally the day before the start of the women’s individual competition, it was decided to admit her to the tournament, where she finished fourth.

New hearings of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in the figure skater’s case will be held on 9 and 10 November.

Valiev in the early hours of the trial day published Video with the following words: I only have thoughts of revenge in my head.
