“When I missed the same goal from South Korea, I realized that they would crush, beat and destroy when I was in the goal. “There was not even a single chance for another scenario,” said the CSKA goalkeeper.
Akinfeev recalled that after that he did not appear in crowded places for a month and worked psychologically on the current situation.
“If I hadn’t left 2014, I would have gone crazy somewhere around Kashchenko. And I ended up with football. But I came back,” said Akinfeev. He emphasized that one should not become a loser because of mistakes and that it is important to be able to overcome difficulties.
