The Barça youth player had a dream day as he gave his team victory as soon as he stepped onto the pitch.
At just 17 years old, Marc Guiu entered the field of play as Barcelona drew 0-0 against Athletic Club de Bilbao. There were 11 minutes left to play and in an impressive display of skill and determination, he scored the only goal of the match 33 seconds after entering the field.
Guiu, who is also part of Barcelona’s reserve team, Barça Atlètic, has been a sensation in the club’s youth categories and has shown exceptional talent and an innate ability to find the net. His ability to score quickly in his first official match with the first team is a testament to his skill and courage on the pitch.
After the match, Guiu did not hide his happiness and, in statements to DAZN, left his first impressions after his dream debut evening with the Barcelona first team shirt.

“La Masia is working. Great work is being done and it must be taken advantage of in difficult times for the club like now. I tell the youth team to keep working, that everyone really wants to come here,” he said after the contest. .
“I don’t believe it. I’m short of breath. Enjoy the moment. You can’t imagine this, but I’ve worked all my life to take advantage of opportunities and it came to me,” he added. .
“Iñigo told me that I cannot sleep today but that I have to enjoy it,” he revealed before narrating the goal game: “Joao Félix controlled the ball, I saw that there was space behind the defense, he gave it to me “and I have overcome the departure of Unai Simón.
