Russian figure skater Ksenia Sinitsyna said she will miss the Russian Grand Prix in Omsk due to a fracture in her metatarsal bone. His words were quoted RIA News.
“Unfortunately, I am missing the Omsk stage. During the training before the free program, it turned out that the injury I received while skating was a fracture of the metatarsal bone of the foot. Now I am recovering, I plan to start training on the ice this week,” said the skater.
The 19-year-old athlete was supposed to compete in the second stage of the Grand Prix.
Last season the girl took part in two stages of the Russian Grand Prix. In the Kazan stage, Ksenia took third place with 207.55 points. At the Perm stage, Sinitsyna took fourth place with 207.67 points. According to the results of her performance at the Russian Championship, the figure skater took eighth place.
