Two-time Olympic champion Alexander Kozhevnikov spoke ironically about his interview with Calgary Flames hockey player Nikita Zadorov. Kozhevnikov’s words are quoted as follows: Russia-Hockey.ru.
“Overall, this duet had a chance to collect all the ratings. On the one hand, there is the presenter whose favorite subject is rear-wheel drive. On the other hand, he is our only foreign player who surrounds the NHL with a colorful flag. “I was waiting for the parade,” said Kozhevnikov.
Zadorov, 28, has been playing abroad since 2012, when he left farm club CSKA Red Army. Before becoming an NHL player, Zadorov first played in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) for the London Knights, where he also played for the Buffalo Sabers, Colorado Avalanche, Chicago Blackhawks and Calgary Flames.
This is not the first time Zadorov has spoken critically about the situation in Russia. Before this, the defender had also criticized the government for the standard of living in the country.
Previously Kozhevnikov caught Zadorov in the retelling of clichés on the CNN channel.
