“Philadelphia” calls Provorov’s swap a tough decision

Daniel Brier, General Manager of the Philadelphia Flyers National Hockey League (NHL) club, commented on the decision to replace Russian defender Ivan Provorov with the Columbus Blue Jackets.

It wasn’t easy for him.

“Sometimes you have to part ways with a good player to get good assets. We thought that such an agreement would be a plus for us.

Ivan was our warrior. He spent a lot of time on the ice, he is a very strong defender. These are the best defensive pairs for our team, but the choice of drift comes at a price.

Recall that in the last NHL season, Provorov played 82 games in which he scored six goals and 21 assists.
