Petersburg “Zenith” and the midfielder of the Russian national team Alexei Sutormin in an interview Youtube channel “SBG SHOW” compared the salaries of football players and teachers.
“Unfortunately, it’s clear that players are getting more. I mean, teachers and others, God forbid, start to get more, ”said the midfielder.
He also justifiably described the high salaries in football. “Maybe some do not see the other side of the coin. I have not had a single graduation, it would be nice if their birthday falls on the weekend,” he explained.
Sutormin also added that the income of footballers is mostly judged by contracts with Russian Premier League (RPL) clubs, but First and Second Division players earn much less.
The 29-year-old midfielder played 18 games for Zenit last season without scoring in all competitions.
Ahead of the blue-white-blue schedule became the champion of Russia. This is their fifth consecutive title.
Previously, former Dynamo Moscow goalkeeper Roman Berezovsky, who currently serves as the goalkeeping coach of the Armenian national team, compared to salary level in this country’s championship and RPL clubs.
