The head of the AMC Fight Nights league, Kamil Gadzhiev, said that Russian fighter Vladimir Mineev, who was in the special military operations zone in Ukraine, took a few days off. Hajiyev quotes RIA Novosti Sports.

“Vladimir has been released for a few days, so I will not negotiate with him about the fight. I will wait until he finally returns from a special military operation. There is not even an opportunity to train there, when there is no point in negotiating,” he said.

Mineev had his last fight in MMA against Magomed Ismailov at the AMC Fight Nights tournament on October 16. He retained the middleweight belt by knocking out his opponent in the third round.

On November 18, in Moscow, Vladimir Mineev defeated Brazilian Fernando Rodriguez in a kickboxing match. He knocked out his Russian opponent in the third round.

The 32-year-old athlete became the world and European champion in professional kickboxing.
