The video was shot by one of the passengers on board and posted on the Youtube channel TMZSports.
Footage shows the young man standing right behind Mike Tyson’s chair and obsessively explaining something, leaning over the boxer’s head, waving his hand and periodically pointing his finger at the athlete.
He also chuckled and looked at the person recording what was going on, clearly pleased with the effect produced.
It seems that the author of the video is a friend of this young man because he is always laughing at the situation and explains to his neighbor: “George is talking to Mike Tyson, bro!”.
Against this background, George continued to annoy Tyson, and then he looked into the camera and chuckled with his friend.
At one point, the boxer could not stand it, jumped from his seat and dealt several blows to the young man. “Hey Mike, stop man!” Someone around him shouted.
In the next frame, the beaten George made a sad face and folded his lips in an arc, but judging by his desire to act in front of the camera, he felt pretty good. “This kid just got beat up by Mike Tyson,” said his friend on the phone, who recorded the whole thing. “Turn your head.”
George obediently turned his head away and bruises appeared on his right temple.
“He was beaten. He just wanted to ask for an autograph and I don’t understand what it is,” he said.
However, the attitude of the young man, who had been harassing Tyson for a long time and laughing with his friends, was not like a request for autograph.
Sources close to Tyson say that the young man was drunk and brazenly provoked the boxer. It is also alleged that Tyson initially spoke peacefully and calmly, and later took a photo with a young man who began to bother him.
The incident occurred before a flight from San Francisco to Florida. According to TMZ, Tyson left the plane soon after the fight and the victim sought medical attention and contacted police.
In the comments to this video on Youtube, the majority support the boxer. The comment “Please learn to leave people alone” by a MEET Magazine user has already received 3.2 thousand likes.
“This man sat down and laughed as he picked up his friend Mike Tyson. Then when Mike replied, he suddenly said, “I don’t know what it is, dude just wanted an autograph.”
As Mike has said before, “Social media has allowed people to feel comfortable disrespecting others without being punched in the face,” wrote Micah West.
Tyson wrote this quote on Facebook (the owner of Meta is considered an extremist organization) in 2020. It has now been removed.
“The weirdest thing was that Mike deliberately held back as much as possible so as not to cause him any real pain,” Real Talk says.
“The younger generation doesn’t know respect, and that’s what happens when you act disrespectfully. God bless you Mike,” Tyrone Relevance wrote.
“He seemed to deliberately provoke Tyson into a physical reaction. The man who was shot was NOT the victim.
Sorry, you can’t provoke people and expect no results,” said Chris M.

Mike Tyson has 50 career victories (by 44 knockouts) and is the undisputed world heavyweight champion, holding the World Boxing Council (WBC), World Boxing Association (WBA) and International Boxing Federation (IBF) belts.
However, before success in sports, he grew up in a disadvantaged area and seriously considered connecting his life with crime.
“I started boxing once and saw hope. Before that, I was going to be a member of a gang, rape and kill. When sports entered my life, I stopped even thinking.”
After becoming famous, Tyson was sentenced to three years in prison for rape (which he did not admit), and another 3.5 months for beating people who got into his car.
Therefore, provoking Mike Tyson was not the wisest decision. Perhaps the young man was lucky to escape with a few bruises.
