He Cadiz has lodged an appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (TAD) requesting that the League be suspended while his call-up for the “Elche Case”. The Cádiz club announced its decision through a statement signed by the president of the entity, Manuel Vizcaíno.

4) That, in addition to the foregoing, in the context of the aforementioned Appeal to the TAD, the CADIZ FOOTBALL CLUB, SAD has requested that precautionary measures be taken consisting of the temporary suspension of the First Division competition (“The competition Santander”), to the effective resolution of the File by the competent authoritiesin our firm belief, based on the law, that this can only be prevented by taking said precaution increase the damage to the CADIZ FOOTBALL CLUB, SAD or, where appropriate, prevent such damage from becoming absolutely irreparable
5) That, in accordance with the foregoing, CÁDIZ CLUB DE FÚTBOL, SAD is of the opinion, and has declared this before the TAD, that the approval of the proposed precautionary measure it is absolutely necessary to ensure the integrity of the competition and warranty the fairness and equality of the clubs participating in it, avoiding one unwanted falsification of said competition, the result of an obvious, serious and negligent technical arbitration error, which is still correctable and reversible at this point.
6) That, for all this, the CADIZ FOOTBALL CLUB, SAD understands that the TAD must swiftly issue a resolution favorable to the interests of the Entity, in our firm conviction that we are supported by reason and the law and furthermore, in the awareness of CÁDIZ CLUB DE FÚTBOL, SAD that any decision violates the exposed would seriously undermine the integrity and self-development of the sports competition in question.
