Moscow “Locomotive” sports director Dmitry Ulyanov commented on the transition to the Artem Dzyuba club. TASS.

“Smolnikov and Dzyuba need to show at Lokomotiv the leadership qualities for which they have been famous throughout their football careers,” Ulyanov said.

Dzyuba’s contract with the Moscow team continues until the end of the season. The media reported that the Russian striker will earn at least 4 million rubles per month at Lokomotiv.

Recall that Dziuba spent the first part of the 2022/23 season in Turkey Adana Demirspor. In total, the striker played four matches for the club and did not fully play a single match.

In the 2022/23 season, Smolnikov played in the capital’s Torpedo. For Avtozavodtsy, the defender played 16 matches, in which he scored one goal and made one assist.
