In October 2018, Pavel Mamaev, the Kokorin brothers and their friend Alexander Protasovitsky became defendants in a criminal case involving two fights in the center of Moscow. At one of the institutions in Moscow, Kokorin was injured in the head, hitting Denis Pak, the head of the department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, with a chair.
They were sentenced to actual jail terms in May 2019. Mamaev and Protasovitsky received 1 year and 5 months in the general regime colony, the Kokorin brothers – 1.5 years each. They were released on parole in September 2019.
This summer, Kokorin became an actress in Cypriot Aris. In total, the striker took part in 14 matches in the Cyprus championship this season and scored seven goals.
