International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) Board Member Franz Reindl shared his view on whether Russian Washington Capitals forward Alexander Ovechkin has imposed a limit on the number of games to be played.
“I can’t imagine the limits of games for Ovechkin. No one will say that. He is getting to his destination day by day. Many things can happen during this time. I think the best way to play in the NHL is for him to enjoy the game. It doesn’t count matches,” Reindl said. “Sport Express”.
Ovechkin played a total of 1,324 games for the Capitals.
