Qualification for international competitions is one of the prizes of the Argentine Championships and the LPF Tournament is no exception.

But apart from staying forever in football history, in this Argentine case, there are also economic prizes and a prize highly desired by the 28 teams competing in the Professional league tournament: qualification for an international cup.
Unlike what happened in 2022, This year the “long” Tournament will be held first, in which the 28 teams face each other in one wheel. And once it’s over, between July and August, the Professional League Cup is played, with two zones of 14 teams and playoffs for the top four of each group.
For this reason this semester’s competition will only award a spot in the 2024 Copa Libertadores for those who become champions, since the rest of the places, both for the top league and for the South American, will be decided at the end of the year with the annual table that adds the two leagues.
