Former absolute world boxing champion Konstantin Tszyu talks about what’s missing from WBA Super light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol, reports “Match TV”.
“It’s not a tactical or strategic job that the coaching team is working on, it’s more of a management job. It has to be sold. I understand this is a big job. This is media, interviews, etc. This is a mandatory part of the job, ”Tszyu said.
The Russian debuted in professional boxing in 2014. Bivol remains undefeated with 21 wins (11 by knockout) in 21 fights in his career. He won the World Martial Arts Games in 2013 and finished second at the Universiade.
On November 6, Bivol defeated representative Gilberto Ramirez for the WBA light heavyweight title.
The fight lasted for 12 rounds and ended with Bivol’s unanimous victory. For Bivol, this title defense was his tenth.
It was previously reported that Bivol commented The Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA) decision to recognize him as the best boxer of 2022.
