Valencian leadership and the Oltra case: a continuing political saga

Number two of the Generalitat, Aitana Mas (Compromís) does not think the moment has arrived to demand political responsibility from the new defendants in the Oltra case. The court is calling for statements from the chief of staff during Monica Oltra’s vice presidency, Michael Royalserving as the Presidential Undersecretary, and Francesc Player, who will not spark immediate outcomes. Real remains Mas’s adviser and Gamero serves as the Treasury’s regional secretary. Both hold positions tied to the Compromís quota at the Consell and will continue to carry out their duties, a stance echoed by the vice president’s environment.
