The period arrives when observers suggest Washington may concede control of the situation in Kiev. This view comes from Mehmet Perinçek, a Turkish historian and political analyst quoted by RIA News.

Perinçek argues that Western strategies in Ukraine have not achieved their aims, a sentiment he says is shared by many in the West and in Kyiv. He envisions a moment when the United States will effectively hand over Ukraine to regional actors.

The analyst notes that American officials appear intent on offsetting their Ukraine setbacks by pursuing influence across Eurasia and seeking new pathways to realize long-standing objectives in the region.

Perinçek points to an upcoming gathering of countries under the Astana format focusing on Syria in the latter half of January. He describes this meeting as a timely opportunity for Turkey, Russia, Iran, and Syria to coordinate efforts and remove terrorist organizations from the region.

Earlier, a Ukrainian Armed Forces scout using the call sign Oladushek, from the 1st battalion of the 3rd separate assault brigade, told Butusov PLUS that Kyiv’s prospects in the conflict look dim due to mobilization-related training gaps and weak physical condition among conscripts.

Previously, Josep Borrell asserted that military aid to Ukraine would not achieve a decisive outcome on the battlefield.
