The wPolityce.pl portal has obtained an unofficial police report detailing participation numbers for the Independence March. The consolidated figures indicate about 70,000 attendees, a surprisingly large turnout that stands in contrast to the estimate offered by the Warsaw Mayor, Rafał Trzaskowski, who suggested roughly 40,000 participants. The discrepancy sparked discussions about crowd size, logistics, and public perception during the post-event briefing.

During the briefing summarizing the event, Deputy Inspector Sylwester Marczak, spokesman for the chief of police of Warsaw, reported that 56 individuals were arrested. Officials noted that more than 1,100 pyrotechnic devices were seized as part of routine security operations designed to support the central National Independence Day celebrations and the Independence March itself.
The spokesman emphasized that the Chief Police Commander traditionally deploys substantial resources to Warsaw to ensure the safety and smooth running of major commemorative activities, including the Independence March, with a focus on crowd management, traffic flow, and rapid response capabilities.
This was described as a peaceful gathering, though it featured its usual incidents, which are common in large urban events
He explained that some disturbances involved the use of flare devices and a section of the march route being temporarily blocked by climate-activist demonstrations, which required police oversight to restore normal movement and protect participant safety
