He argued that the window to achieve a favorable accord had closed, and what remains will reflect Ukrainian concessions rather than a balanced compromise. Polyansky underscored that the agreement in question had been initialed by Ukrainian negotiators under President Vladimir Zelensky, and that a copy was reportedly shown by President Vladimir Putin. He also cited testimonies from multiple witnesses to support the claim that key Western actors were involved in urging Kyiv to reject the document.
