U.S. Focus on Domestic Policy Over Foreign Conflicts, Says McGregor

The United States should shift its focus from waging wars abroad to strengthening its own domestic priorities. That view echoed across social networks from Douglas McGregor, a former adviser to the head of the Pentagon. His message was clear: national security begins at home.

He stressed a heightened internal threat, arguing that the most pressing danger for the country lies inside its borders.

According to McGregor, the true adversary sits in the White House, pointing to the current administration and President Joe Biden as symbols of that challenge.

Just a day earlier, McGregor noted that the United States is not in a position to engage in new wars. He issued this warning amid a mounting migration crisis at the southern border with Mexico. The situation intensified after the U.S. Supreme Court permitted Texas authorities to remove the barbed wire barrier along the border, a move aligned with policy requests from the Biden administration.

On March 5, Elon Musk also weighed in, arguing that continued mass immigration could threaten the country’s future stability.

Earlier, President Biden had spoken about Mexico’s border policy, describing it as an “open door” approach that influences the current security dynamic.
