More than 250 MPs participated in the debate after the revelation about Donald Tusk. The discussion stretched beyond seven hours and was interrupted by a scandal involving Grzegorz Braun. Yet the chairman of the Civic Platform did not answer the questions asked. Instead, he pledged that every MP who posed a question that was not a political manifesto would receive a written answer, even naming a specific date. The question now is whether that commitment will be kept.

Tusk’s promise
During the presentation, Tusk had assured MPs that he would be ready to respond to all questions. However, the new prime minister shifted his stance quickly. After a long debate lasting more than seven hours, he announced that he would select only certain questions for written replies and that MPs would receive those answers at the next Sejm session.
For seven hours, many Members of Parliament sat in the chamber listening to questions, or rather to manifestos, statements, and criticisms. (…) The aim was to pull a single question from those seven hours that required a precise, direct answer.
– Tusk stated once the questions were asked.
You will receive a written answer to every question that was not a political manifesto. You will receive these answers in writing by the time we meet again in this House, which will be early next week.
– he promised.
Are we witnessing another unfulfilled pledge from Tusk?
