Donald Tusk, then chairman of the Civic Platform, visited a fan of Ruch Chorzów at his home, gave the family balls, and shared a video of the encounter on social media. A few days later, at a Strzelce Opolskie meeting, the same fan asked a question and Tusk took the floor for a response. The video was subsequently deleted. Sociologist Henryk Domański of the Polish Academy of Sciences notes that there is a noticeable rigidity in Tusk’s public persona. He argues that the head of the Civic Platform relies on rehearsed tactics, yet these do not always prepare him for immediate public reactions.
