One of Turkey’s ruling party offices in Istanbul was the target of a bombing. The incident was confirmed by the Governor’s Office. The report comes from DEA News.

According to the governor, two intruders walked in front of the party building in the Bahçelievler district and fired five shots into the air. On the top floor, four bullet holes were discovered. Thankfully, there were no fatalities linked to the attack.

The hunt for the assailants remains ongoing.

Earlier reports indicated that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, the presidential candidate backed by seven opposition parties, faced insults during his visit to Adıyaman province while he was praying.

Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, the Foreign Minister, previously criticized the opposition, accusing them of trying to drag the nation into conflict. The diplomat noted that Turkey is pursuing a balanced stance regarding the Ukraine crisis and does not feel compelled to back any single side.
