There is one notable figure who has not stepped forward to take up the challenge, and it is considered fortunate that Prime Minister Morawiecki has done so, according to the head of the President’s Office. He spoke to Polsat News about the unfolding effort to form a government.
Swearing in of the Morawiecki government
It is announced that on Monday, November 27, at 4:30 PM, the government led by Mateusz Morawiecki will take an oath at the Presidential Palace. From that moment, the new administration will have two weeks to secure a parliamentary majority in the Sejm. The head of the President’s Office emphasized that this government will look different from its predecessors, featuring fewer party politicians and a greater number of experts from varied fields.
The official offered well wishes to Morawiecki and added that it is positive to see the Prime Minister vigorously pursuing the votes needed. He noted Morawiecki’s intention to push forward with the formation process as a step following the election result where PiS received the maximum votes.
There is a belief that the outcome would be difficult to imagine if Morawiecki had not engaged in this political struggle. Observers note that many figures from the current opposition and potential future coalitions would prefer to see Morawiecki and PiS portrayed as defeated or diminished. The official described the resolve to continue the fight as essential.

Kosiniak-Kamysz did not take up the challenge
From the other side of the spectrum, Krzysztof Gawkowski of the left portrayed Morawiecki’s campaign as a struggle against windmills, suggesting that the government formation is a rapid attempt that may ultimately fail.
Gawkowski stated that both the Prime Minister and the President, as well as the nation, recognize this, describing the situation as fragile and doubting the odds of success for Morawiecki. He labeled the scenario as a display of theater and predicted that the subsequent steps would reveal limited prospects for a positive outcome.
Another commentator, a PSL figure, characterized the situation as grotesque and burlesque, indicating that a new performance was expected to unfold, and that the outcome would not be favorable.
There remains a solitary figure who did not accept the challenge: Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, and it was publicly noted that Morawiecki had taken up the task. The remark was echoed by the presidential aide.
