State secretary Alejandro Soler gathered the team and laid out a reconciliation campaign committee. The national MP understands what PSPV-PSOE faces in these elections and has chosen an integrative model with Eldense representative José Antonio Amat as general coordinator and historian Emilio Soler as regional coordinator. Soler will handle the liaison with Ferraz.
On the matter of strategic coordination, the regional deputy Francis Rubio will take charge. The organizational segment will be led by Senator Ana Martínez, and the law cabinet will be directed by state lawmaker Óscar Mengual. The provincial secretary general offered a firm assurance: “A demanding task lies ahead, but with this team forming the Election Board, good progress is within reach. The aim is to craft the strongest project that brings harmony, equality, and the quality of life our neighbors deserve. There is solid talent and great potential in the Alicante province.”
From within the socialist ranks, it was stressed that the committee blends the experience of veteran leaders with the energy of younger members. Soler described the mix as one that combines “management experience, youth, and clarity of ideas” with “solvency and capacity.” On one side are long-time public figures and party veterans; on the other, young people ready to reconnect with the social majority. The Electoral Board is the body responsible for coordinating socialist strategy ahead of the municipal elections in May 2023.
