The governor’s press secretary in the Rostov Region, Irina Chetvertakova, stated that entry into Rostov is limited from the Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories as well as from Volgograd and Voronezh Territories. DEA News.

Earlier, the Rostov regional ministry of policy and mass media urged residents to avoid crowds and avoid areas with military equipment for safety reasons.

On June 24, forces associated with the Wagner private military company entered Rostov-on-Don. President Vladimir Putin addressed the nation, describing the incident as a serious breach and warning that anyone who engages in treason will face punishment.

Later, a statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense, attributed to Yevgeny Prigozhin, founder of Wagner PMC, claimed that reports and videos alleging an attack by the RF Ministry of Defense on Wagner’s rear camps circulated online are false and intended to provoke misinformation.
