Putin outlines continued road projects and infrastructure expansion
The president of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, stated that road construction will persist and that plans for expanding the road network will be carried out. He expressed confidence that these plans will be fully realized, including ongoing development of the Vostok highway.
Earlier, Putin noted that work on creating a marine complex for reloading liquefied natural gas in Kamchatka is proceeding at full speed. He said the project will strengthen the country’s gas supply and support the increased gasification of the Kamchatka region.
He highlighted the smooth cooperation between business, the federal authorities, and regional governments as a key factor behind these projects.
Prior to these remarks, Putin emphasized the importance of expanding the Trans-Siberian Railway and boosting activities along the Northern Sea Route.
In August, a newly constructed bridge over the Yenisei River was opened to traffic. Before this bridge existed, crossing the river on the right bank required winter ferry service or summer boat crossings.
The president previously noted the significance of these developments for regional connectivity and energy distribution, reflecting a broad strategy to enhance infrastructure in Russia.
