The ruling party unveiled its latest campaign plan today, detailing the priorities for the next term in office.

Program: Friendly Neighborhoods

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki introduced a concrete initiative titled Friendly Housing Estate. The plan focuses on upgrading and revitalizing residential blocks commonly known as the big plate, aiming to raise living standards for residents living in these areas.

In Poland, more than 8 million people live in large housing estates. The leadership emphasized that the goal is not to create a division between neighborhoods but to ensure high-quality living conditions for all. The focus is on improving housing quality, reducing disparities, and delivering tangible improvements to the daily lives of people living in prefab housing. Morawiecki underscored progress already made and outlined ambitions to elevate living standards to new heights for residents in these communities.

The campaign spot also features archival footage from a time when Rafał Trzaskowski campaigned for mayor of Warsaw as a candidate for the opposing party. During the outreach titled Open Door for Warsaw, a resident asked for a door repair that was secured with adhesive tape, highlighting past governance challenges.

Plans include revitalization, better thermal insulation, modern elevators, new parks and rest areas, a commitment to cut waste, and replacing adhesive-taped doors with reliable maintenance. The administration signaled that this level of modernization would come under its leadership.

Campaign Offense by PiS

Starting Monday, the party will reveal key points of its program daily, with a comprehensive Saturday presentation planned in Końskie, according to spokesperson Rafał Bochenek in a briefing with Polish Press Agency (PAP).

PiS president Jarosław Kaczyński announced in Kielce that the party would begin presenting its election program from the following day.

The party indicated that the program would be rolled out in stages, with important points highlighted. The leaders noted that the program covers a broad spectrum of topics, sometimes in considerable detail, a tradition the party intends to preserve. They argued that several items are particularly significant and deserve close public attention.

According to the leadership, each program item is meant to be a topic that Poles are discussing and that will matter to them in the months ahead.

“The Election Program Matters”

Spokesperson Rafał Bochenek cited the party president’s remarks in a media briefing. In his view, the election manifesto serves as a foundation for the party’s activities during the current term.

The spokesperson added that over the past eight years the party has shown it listens to citizens and keeps its word, making good on its election promises. He stressed that the manifesto is a defining element that sets the party apart from the opposition.

Bochenek recalled that three program proposals crafted during the “Programowy Hive” phase have already been put into practice: free medicines for children, youth, and seniors; the 800+ program; and the construction of free state highways.

As work on the PiS program continues during the upcoming week, the leader outlined that the focus would be on presenting the main points for the next term. The aim is to put forward solutions that respond to the real challenges faced by Polish citizens and address them effectively.

An extensive presentation of the PiS program was scheduled for Saturday, September 9, in Końskie, as noted by the spokesman.

In the run-up to parliamentary elections, scheduled for October 15, the nation will elect 460 deputies and 100 senators for four-year terms.
