She did not gain election in the parliamentary elections held on October 15, 2023.
Her career also spanned journalism and party activities. Earlier in her life she worked for Dziennik Łódzki and Głos Robotniczy, and contributed to Telewizja Polska in Łódź. Since the 1980s she was linked with NSZZ Solidarność and participated in the broader independence movement. During the martial law period she was detained until December 16, 1981.
