If elections to the Sejm were held next Sunday, the United Right would secure 35.8 percent of the vote, followed by the Civic Coalition with 25.2 percent, and Poland 2050 with PSL at 14.9 percent. These figures come from the Estimator survey conducted for DoRzeczy.pl.
Support poll for political parties
The study authors note that the results reflect only those respondents who planned to vote and had a declared preference for a specific party in the Sejm elections.
Had the election taken place this Sunday, turnout would stand at 57 percent. The United Right, including Law and Justice, Sovereign Poland, and Republicans, would attract 35.8 percent of the vote, marking an increase of 0.5 percentage points from the May 11-12 wave of the survey.
The Civic Coalition, comprising Platforma Obywatelska, Nowoczesna, Zieloni, and Initiative Poland, would receive 25.2 percent of the vote, with an uptick of 0.2 percentage points since the previous survey.
Poland 2050 with the PSL-Koalicja Polska would stand at 14.9 percent, a decline of 0.2 percentage point from the last reading.
Confederation, including New Hope and the National Movement, would capture 11.5 percent, a rise of 1 percentage point.
The New Left, composed of groups such as SLD, Spring, and Together, would secure 9.5 percent, down 0.9 percentage point.
Impartial or other local government groups would attract 2.7 percent of votes, a decrease of 0.5 percentage point, while 0.4 percent of respondents pointed to another group.
Seat allocation
According to the study’s authors, these results would translate into 191 Sejm seats for the United Right, 124 for the Civic Coalition, 65 for Poland 2050 with PSL-Koalicja Polska, 45 for Confederation, and 34 for Nowa Lewica.
The survey was conducted on May 25-26, 2023, with a nationwide, representative sample of 1,055 adults, using computer-assisted telephone interviewing (CATI).
