The head of government expressed regret that he could not attend the congress in person and extended his respect to all participants.

– Morawiecki stated. Therefore, as he stressed, the government is consistently addressing past negligence and investing in the countryside by improving living conditions and leveling development opportunities.
The prime minister noted that this is demonstrated not least by the support extended to farmers in difficult times, whether after droughts or during sharp increases in fertilizer prices.
He pointed out that Poland was the only EU country to apply a subsidy mechanism to fertilizer purchases, with nearly PLN 4 billion allocated for this purpose.
Soon, support will reach wheat and maize producers through resources from the national budget. The year also brings the launch of mechanisms under the strategic plan of the common agricultural policy for 2023-2027. He expressed confidence that this year’s edition would be as productive as the last one.
