Polish Political Party Support: Updated Electoral Pulse Across Parties

The latest study on political party support commissioned by the studio Social changes for the portal wPolityce.pl does not show a rapid surge in backing for the Confederation. The group is growing, but the rise is modest. The ruling party PiS shows a slight decline, while KO posts a small uptick. The Left remains on stage, steady as it has been.

In this survey, the share of respondents who say they would vote for a political option remains at 36 percent, marking a two-point drop from the previous wave of the poll.

Civil Coalition stands at 30 percent, up by one point.

The Left holds at 9 percent.

Poland 2050 earns 8 percent, up by a point.

Confederation increases by one point, reaching 8 percent in the survey.

The Polish People’s Party maintains 5 percent support and remains above the electoral threshold. Kukiz’15 stays at 2 percent.

Agreement shows zero support this time, down from 1 point previously.

The submitted lists include potential coalitions, such as a joint list of the citizens’ coalition with the Left, and PSL with Poland 2050. The coalition of the PO and the Left leads with 38 percent support, narrowly ahead of the United Right at 36 percent. The alliance of Hołownia and Kosiniak-Kamysz trails with 12 percent.

Explanation of frequencies shows 64 percent of responses, up by 3 percentage points.

The study was conducted using an online CAWI method (Computer Assisted Web Interview) from March 17 to 20, 2023, on a nationwide, representative sample of Poland in terms of gender, age, and place of residence. A total of 1,045 people participated in the survey.
