The leader of the governing party has yet to answer how he would vote in the referendum on forced removals, and there is a warning against being misled. When the ruling party came to power, it halted forced relocations, but officials from the opposing Civic Platform are accused of following directives without question, according to PiS spokespeople on Saturday.

A Safe Poland Requires Secure Borders

Opponents of the government criticized every measure taken to curb illegal immigration into Poland. They argued that only the Law and Justice party can stop the inspiration for migration at the border, a point echoed by the head of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration in a fresh PiS social media spot released on Saturday.

Other PiS voices also weighed in on the platform X during the day.
A secure Poland depends on firm borders. The choice for voters is clear: PiS will refuse EU directives that impede national interests. The Civic Platform, critics claim, would align with those directives, at least for the next four weeks pretending otherwise, according to Deputy Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Deputy Foreign Minister articulated that the head of the PO, Donald Tusk, still has not answered how he would vote in the referendum about forced relocations and maintaining a border barrier with a neighbor country. There were remarks from German Members of Parliament and some PO MPs suggesting the platform would accept forced relocations. The stance was described as madness that must be stopped by the government.

“The Madness of Forced Relocation Must Be Stopped”

Climate Minister Anna Moskwa recalled that Tusk has not yet answered his position on the referendum, suggesting an attempt to draw attention away from the topic. Critics urged not to be fooled, noting that when PiS came to power, it blocked forced relocations, while critics claim the opposition would do whatever it was told. The leader of the opposition was characterized as someone who would mislead the Polish people again.

Senate Vice President Marek Pęk remarked that Europe has made mistakes in migration policy. The message was clear: Poland does not want large-scale immigration. The opposition, according to PiS, had shown willingness to accept any number of newcomers; after PiS took power, forced relocations were blocked, while the opposition would act on instruction from others.

German Members of the European Parliament were noted as saying the Platform would approve forced relocations, a claim described as madness by PiS. The government team framed its stance as a path toward a safe Poland under a secure border regime.
