The Polish political leader, associated with the Law and Justice party, addressed attendees in Płock to discuss the European Union’s stance toward Poland. He contended that the EU’s actions had little to do with safeguarding the rule of law and asserted that they did not align with the country’s concerns.

During the Płock gathering, the party figure stated that his group would no longer pay heed to what he described as EU institutional activity.

This time around, the focus would shift away from concerns about unions. The priority, he explained, is victory. He suggested that there was no need to be preoccupied because the EU did not truly care about events inside Poland. Those who warned that the situation was a single strategic game and that the debate on the rule of law was a pretext to attack Poland were seen as correct by him. He added that conclusions would be drawn from the experience.

“Farmhands for Germany”

At one point in the discussion, a participant raised the idea of Poland being steered toward becoming a German-influenced state. In response, Jarosław Kaczyński clarified that the aim was not to replicate any German model, but rather to keep Poland on a path closer to its own local governance. He suggested that the plans being discussed regarding the education system, which he argued could limit children’s studies, would ultimately produce individuals aligned with the country’s real development goals rather than external pressures. He emphasized that opposing the basic right to education would stand as a serious misstep against real progress.
