The head of the PiS parliamentary club, Mariusz Błaszczak, shared on the X platform that soldiers have reported delays in receiving compensation for service at the Polish-Belarusian border. He noted that the issue had come to his attention and that he had approached the current head of the Ministry of National Defense, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, to seek clarity and a swift remedy.
Minister @MON_GOV_PL @KosiniakKamysz, hardworking soldiers report delays in the payment of compensation for service at the Polish-Belarusian border
– Błaszczak wrote, underscoring that timely remuneration is essential for those serving at a sensitive frontier.
Historically, such delays have occurred. Yet, according to Błaszczak, the system has been tightened in the past to ensure faster processing and circulation of documents, so every soldier would receive money on schedule. He stressed that maintaining a reliable flow of payments is a matter of not letting the mechanism slip backward.
– he pointed out, reflecting on the operational improvements that had taken place to shield morale and reduce friction within the ranks.

In a scenario where pressure on officers and soldiers increases and they are forced to determine which border crossings qualify as sufficiently critical to warrant intervention, timely payments become a key factor for sustaining morale and trust in the system.
– emphasized the former head of the Ministry of National Defense, highlighting the link between financial assurance and effective field operations.
The question remains: will Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz respond promptly? Perhaps he will discuss the matter with Donald Tusk before issuing a formal statement.
