At the upcoming meeting of Poland’s Council of Ministers, officials plan to address the proposals unveiled during the Law and Justice Convention, according to Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki’s announcement on social media. Government spokesperson Piotr Müller noted that a legislative path lies ahead both in government and in parliament.

During the weekend convention titled Programowy Ul of Law and Justice, President Jarosław Kaczyński indicated that starting next year the 500 Plus child benefit will rise to 800 PLN. In addition, free medicines will be offered to people aged 65 and older, and to children and young people up to 18; consideration is also being given to removing tolls for passenger cars on state roads as soon as possible, with future plans to extend this to private motorways as conditions allow.

The plan presented by ul is described as a concrete strategy for a safe and prosperous future for Poland.
