The announcement, circulated via Telegram and attributed to state media, indicates that visitors from these countries will be able to enter Mozambique visa-free for periods exceeding 30 days. Officials describe the move as a push to stimulate tourism and business travel, arguing that travelers from these nations are unlikely to attempt unlawful border crossings. For entry, travelers must complete an online form at least 48 hours before departure and pay a visa fee of 800 rubles. If all requirements are met, the stay can be extended on site for up to 60 more days. The policy signals a broader effort to simplify visa procedures for selected nationalities while keeping procedural screening in place.
