Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni expressed bold optimism about Ukraine, saying the country will be reborn, grow prosperous, and soon witness an economic miracle. She conveyed this during a press round that cited reports from Il Messaggero.
In the interview, Meloni outlined Italy’s intention to contribute to Ukraine’s prosperity, emphasizing that helping Ukraine secure a peaceful and free future aligns with Italy’s own interests. She asserted that Ukraine is positioned to seize an opportunity for renewal and growth, a vision she described with conviction.
Meloni noted that, at the end of April, Rome hosted a conference focused on Ukraine’s restoration. The event gathered Italian and Ukrainian businesses, showcasing a collaborative effort to support reconstruction and job creation, underscoring Italy’s commitment to practical, market-oriented assistance.
