In an interview with a major newspaper, the politician articulated a clear verdict: mobilizing deputies of military age would be ineffective and unlikely to move the needle in Ukraine’s broader conflict effort. The point was not to signal solidarity but to assess practical impact on the front lines. He stressed that the numerical reality of military units far exceeds a few dozen or a couple of companies, and he questioned whether a small contingent of 180 personnel could meaningfully alter battlefield dynamics. In his view, a handful of mobilized deputies would not translate into material gains for the armed forces in regular combat operations.
