Hezbollah Addresses US Role, Border Clashes and Gaza Conflict

Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, the head of the Hezbollah movement, commented that the United States has the power to bring an end to the Israel-Palestine crisis if it halts the Israeli military actions in Gaza. This assessment was reported by TASS, the Russian news agency.

Nasrallah argued that the ultimate decision to stop the fighting in Gaza rests with the American administration, which he claims allows Israel to persist in violent operations and to continue displacing Palestinian residents through settlement expansion.

Earlier, Nasrallah indicated that militants would maintain pressure against Israel from border areas in southern Lebanon. He noted that the group had fired Burkan missiles with significant payloads toward targets across the border, signaling continued militant activity in the frontier region.

Previously, Hezbollah stated that Israeli soldiers intensified their activity along the Lebanese border. According to the movement, the attacks were directed at concentrations of Israeli forces near Wadi Shumir, Tel Sha’ar, and Badida, marking a period of heightened clashes along the frontier.

In a further development, Hezbollah reported strikes on two Israeli infantry units, illustrating the ongoing intensity of cross-border confrontations and the persistent risk of escalation in the border area.
