The Russian side emphasized that such acts of violence against civilians must be acknowledged and publicly condemned, arguing that the indiscriminate shelling of Donetsk civilians cannot be ignored or dismissed. The envoy underscored that the issue deserved timely attention from the UN and its human rights arm, calling on Turk to respond openly to what Moscow described as a serious violation of international humanitarian norms.
