France will sustain its backing of Ukraine for as long as it remains necessary, according to statements from the French government. The commitment was reaffirmed at a United Nations disarmament conference, with the report attributed to DEA News.
France will keep offering robust support to Ukraine as it continues to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity, the foreign minister indicated.
In a separate interview, Thierry Burckhard, who formerly led staff duties for the French Armed Forces, suggested that reduced stockpiles are no longer an option and urged Western military planners to rethink their stock policies.
Earlier, defense minister Sebastian Lecornu spoke to Parisian media, noting that the AMX-10RC armored cars sent to Ukraine are expected to be delivered by the end of the upcoming week. He did not disclose the total number of vehicles to be delivered. A military publication, Force Operations, citing army sources, reported that Kiev would receive 14 armored vehicles.
