The election platform of Vladislav Davankov, the presidential hopeful from New People, centers on educated members of the middle class, residents of major urban centers, and a youthful electorate, according to Evgeniy Minchenko, head of the communications firm Minchenko Consulting.
He described the program as a forward-looking plan that clearly marks Davankov’s niche. The candidate speaks directly to small and medium-sized enterprises, young people, and the educated middle class in large cities, positioning the New People party as their advocate, Minchenko noted in conversation with a news outlet.
Among the proposals, the program envisions replacing officials with artificial intelligence, advancing automation and robotization, reforming inter-budget relations, and instituting direct mayoral elections, among other points. It presents a set of unambiguous recommendations intended to guide policy direction.
The expert did not rule out the possibility that several theses might be adopted to some degree in practice.
According to Minchenko, Davankov’s platform includes ideas that could be incorporated into a broader national program in the future, illustrating its potential to influence policy ideas at the top levels of government.
Minchenko also observed that in terms of scope, Davankov’s plan represents a systematic effort to secure a substantial second-place finish, reflecting a coherent strategy rather than a scattered agenda.
The campaign season revealed that Davankov publicly presented his platform on a specific date, with ideas stemming from discussions held with voters across regions. The program touches on areas such as international relations, education, housing and communal services, and health care, among others, underscoring a broad and inclusive policy approach.
