The coalition remains tightly coordinated, with every detail under scrutiny. When differences arise today, the focus is on advancing key issues like women’s rights and abortion, expressed by the PO leader Donald Tusk on Monday in Wrocław.

On Monday, Donald Tusk visited Wrocław to meet residents of Jagodno, where many voters lined up at polling stations late into the night on October 15.

People often wonder how talks are progressing, why a formal coalition hasn’t formed, and who might take ministerial posts. The coalition partners, and the president as well, emphasize that the process is detailed and deliberate

– Tusk indicated.

Speaking about the ongoing coalition discussions among PO, Third Way, and the Left, he described the talks as very constructive and surprisingly consistent. No one felt crossroads or betrayals in any round of discussions among the leaders of the democratic parties that won the elections, and everyone took seriously the positions they voiced during the campaign.

– according to the PO leader.

He pointed out that while clear disagreements remain on some issues, the coalition leaders are actively seeking methods to move the process forward in areas where their visions diverge.

When it comes to women’s rights, particularly abortion, the positions of Kosiniak-Kamysz, Hołownia and the Third Way, and the Left, as well as the stance of KO, were all clearly noted

– he added.

During these negotiations, there is no claim that anything has shifted since the election. The aim is to identify ways to progress in spaces where visions do not perfectly align

– Tusk stressed.

Coalition agreement before November 11

The intention is to have the coalition agreement initialed before Independence Day. On Friday, it is anticipated that the coalition will be formally acknowledged as a fact, according to the KO leader Donald Tusk, speaking in Wrocław.

His visit to Jagodno echoed the message: the KO-Left-Trzecia Droga partnership would be ready to confirm the signing of the coalition agreement before Independence Day.

The plan is to initial the coalition agreement ahead of Independence Day. Those involved in the talks believe the leaders who conducted these discussions will publicly declare on Friday that the coalition is real.

It was indicated that the next phase would be reported on Friday, and by Sunday there would be broad acceptance among the political parties that acted as the democratic opposition in these elections.
