Renewed faces, fresh energy. That is the nomination presented by Carlos Pastor, Alcoy’s leading People’s Party candidate, on Wednesday for the municipal elections set for May 28.
Pastor describes the candidacy as a 13-member team that is a government roster in its own right, comprised of individuals qualified to fill various roles at the Alcoy Town Hall.
He is joined by a slate of new faces for the mayoral bid, including ten younger professionals who bring a mix of technical and professional expertise. The party emphasizes that these candidates contribute solid experience to the city project and reflect a renewed commitment to Alcoy’s growth.
Carlos Pastor will include three current councilors, excluding the spokesperson, on Alcoy’s PP list
Pastor highlighted the value of experience, noting that three sitting councilors at Alcoy Town Hall will be part of the slate: Amalia Paya, Lirios García, and Quico Cantó. He stressed that the list is crafted not only to win but also to govern effectively from day one.
